• Public school phulbani is the oldest English Medium School in the district.
• The School was established in the year 1986 by Sri Aurobinda Behera,IAS,then collector along with Mr.Bipra Charan Patra,Dr.Sabyasachi Rath,Mr.Chitrasen jagdev,Mrs Gitali roy Choudhary as the founder member of school.
• The School was started with 50 students in the building of rotary club,Phulbani.
• The School has been recognised as a secondary school by the Director of Secondary Education,Odisha and is also affiliated to Cetral Board of Secondary Education(CBSE),New Delhi.
• It has got a team of 4 young,qualified,experienced,commited and well focused teaching staff to impart teaching.Matrons have been taking care of sall children and others Non-Teaching staff to take care of other requiremments of the institution..
