General information

Public School in Phulbani was established in the year 1986 with an objective to impart education in English and to strive to build the character of children from a very tender age. In order to cater to the heavy demand of the public, the then Collector of Phulbani guided few enlightened citizens of the town and this noble thought of setting up an English Medium school was materialized. The basic aim and objective of our school is not to follow the hi-fi westernized manner but to preach and propagate rich and prestigious cultural heritage of ancient India by means of English language which is the international medium of communication at the present time. The school has completed the journey of more than 30 years continuously nurturing the process of upbringing children from kindergarten to adolescence which gives immense satisfaction and brings eternal peace to mind. Public school has been recognized as a Secondary School by the Director of Secondary Education, Odisha and is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. The school has been able to produce many intellectuals and responsible citizens in course of time.
